Manual Book Of LCD Projector


An LCD projector is a type of video projector for displaying video, images or computer data on a screen or other flat surface. To display images, LCD projectors typically send light from a lamp that separates light to three polysilicon panels , one each for the red, green and blue components of the video signal.

Explanation of the button

1. Power Button
Use this button to turn the power on and off.
2. Status Indicator
If this light is red continually it’s warning that the projection lamp has exceeded 1000 hours
If this light blinks red rapidly, it indicates that the lamp cover or filter cover is not attached properly or the projector is overheated.
3. Power Indicator
When this indicator is green, the projector is on; when the indicator is orange, it is in standby mode.
4. Select ( > < ) / ( + ) ( – ) Buttons
Use these buttons to select the menu of the item you wish to adjust. Use these buttons to change the level of a selected menu item.
5. Cancel Button
Press this button to exit the menu. While you are in the adjustment or setting menu, pressing this button will return to the previous menu.
6. Enter Button
Executes your menu selection and activates items selected from the menu.
 7. Menu Button
Displays the menu.
8. Auto Adjust Button
Use this button to adjust automatically.
9. Source Button
Use this button to select a video source such as a PC, VCR or DVD player.

 The Port Based on the Picture

1.      RGB Input Connector
Connect your PC or other RGB equipment. Use the supplied signal cable to connect to a PC.
2.      RGB Monitor Output Connector
You can use this connector to loop your computer image to an external monitor from the RGB input source.
3.      Audio Input (Mini Jack)
This is where you connect audio output from your computer.
4.      Audio Input (RCA)
This is where you connect audio output from a VCR, DVD player, or laser disc player.
5.      Audio Output (Mini Jack)
Connect audio equipment to this jack. Note that     this cannot be used as a headphone jack.
6.      Video Input (RCA)
Connect a VCR, DVD player, laser disc player, or document camera here to project video.
7.      S-Video Input Port
Connect the S-Video input from an external source like a VCR.
8.      PC Control Port
Use this port to connect your PC to control your projector. This enables you to use your PC and serial communication protocol to control the projector.

How to Use a LCD Projector
Step 1.   Get out the projector.

Step 2.   Get out the remote and the following cords

Step 3. Connect the power cord to the projector and plug it into a wall outlet.


Step 4.   Make sure that the switch next to the power cord is turned to the line, not the circle.
Step 5.   Plug the RGB cord into the projector’s RGB 1 port

***  If you do not want to use the Remote Control then skip steps 6 & 7 and proceed to step 8.
Step 6.   Connect the PS2 cord to the projector’s Control port.

Step 7.   Connect the other end of the PS2 cord to the laptop’s PS2 port.

*NOTE*  -  Now that there is PS2 cord plugged in you can use the remote as your mouse. 
Use this part to control your cursor:

--  When you want to click press down on the joystick ( in the above red box ).  
This also allows you to press the joystick in order to advance through your PowerPoint slides.--
Step 8.   Connect the other end of the RGB cord to the laptop.

Step 9.   Turn on the laptop and run your PowerPoint presentation using your mouse or the Remote Control.

LCD Projector is ready to use
